AKAYCENTRIC (born Akinola Olumiyiwa Oshodi on February 8 and hails from Epetedo, Lagos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is an Afropop/RnB artist as well as a very talented vocalist. He is best know for featuring Nigerian ace rapper Ice Prince Zamani in his first single titles "Addicted". He made his debut appearance in the music scene in 2010, releasing a couple of singles. In 2015 AkayCentric shot his first musical video for the song titled "Parachute", which opened opportunities like Lagos countdown concert as well as winning FAME music competition. In 2017 AkayCentric got officially signed to an international entertainment company Monkey Media House Records, which led to the release of his first audio single under the label titled "After All". Later that same year, he released his hit single "Mamma Mia", the song which music video was shot in Hollywood, California, USA and was quick to become one of the most frequently played video both on local and terrestrial TV station in early 2018. By March 2018, AkayCentric released the music video to his "After All" single. The Nigerian singer was known as AKAY until 2017 when he changed his name to AkayCentric.
