Биография

TMBOY is Sarah Aument and Will Shore; together they create shadowy electronic pop. Their sound has an unusually organic feel for music that leans heavily into house and techno. Since forming the band they’ve played regularly at NYC venues including Bowery Ballroom, DJ’d frequently on The Lot Radio, toured as an opener for French/Finnish band The Dø, and released their debut full length, Steam in 2019. The Line of Best Fit called TMBOY brilliant, stating, “TMBOY [is] really only starting to get going, but they’re already a brilliant, fully-formed proposition.”  (The Line of Best Fit) "The duo’s spacious electro-pop references everything from Björk to Chairlift to Dirty Projectors to Purity Ring. ‘Moths’…matches booming low-end and skittering island percussion with Aument’s strikingly assured vocal performance."
