Through the use of musical deconstruction as a creative and growth generating tool, the producer Alessandro Catalano gave birth to Arssalendo. He released his first album, LITANIA, on January 21st, 2020. On November 11th, 2021, he released the single Sottopelle and shortly after that, he was hand-picked by i-D Italy and Versace Jeans Couture as the Italian representative for the i-N SESSION project. His new album Tutti Ammassati senza Affetto” was released right after the release of the single “Dentro c'è il Mare”. Additionally, Arssalendo remixed the song “UMMA” by Bluem and collaborated with her again for the production of four tracks included in her new album, nou. December 2022 was marked by the release of the double single “MI PIACE STARE SOLA / PER NON SENTIRE IL DOLORE” by Yasmina, of which the production aspect was curated by Arssalendo. On August 4th, 2022, the short movie for Quattro Pareti, directed by Giada Bossi, in which the artist stars in the role of co-protagonist, was released. The short addresses the theme of mourning at an age in which we do not yet have the tools and experience to deal with loss. Arssalendo ended 2022 by publishing the single Quaderno, anticipating the release of his new EP “Ma tu ci tieni a me?”, which came out on January 25th, 2023. The four-track EP is a collection of blurry and suggestive snapshots, telling the story of the artist's past year from his perspective.
