Биография

Mateo Gouwy is a 19-years-old electronic music producer based in the Netherlands. Receiving support from artists such as Lost Frequencies, Nicky Romero and Brooks he’s accumulated more than 15 million streams already and shows no sign of stopping there. Debuting in 2019-2020 with an energetic and melodic deep house sound some bigger milestones were reached including placements in the Apple Music Charts in over 50 countries reaching the top 10 all over the world and peaking in Europe at #55 in Belgium. In 2021 a more chilled-out path is taken, releasing numerous chill-electronic tracks together with labels renowned for this sound such as Soave Records, Inside Records (Beyond.) and Spectrum Recordings. Besides this Mateo also started his alias Mg. in 2021, releasing lofi beats and receiving continuous placements in one of the biggest study playlists on Spotify, providing more than 3 million people all over the world with a soundtrack for their studies. With a still evolving but recognizable sound, the curiosity grows what the future will bring. One thing is sure, it will be chill, energetic and melodic.
