Coming up from Singapore's shores, Edson Charntor's music is an embodiment of the consciousness and the consensus of the asian millennial and beyond. Rising independently online since 2019 with his EP "Youth Function", Edson Charntor's music infuses styles from Asian contemporaries such as Fujii Kaze, BTS, Joji, ZICO, and Glen Check. With a uniquely bright, passionate and pitchy tone reminiscent of G-DRAGON and SZA, coupled with different harmonic layers that involve eclectic sound choices, vocal harmonies and syncopation, Edson Charntor's visceral tendencies in his songwriting has allowed him to carve out his unique sound as he expresses his life stories, philosophies and emotions about the world around him. The Singaporean singer-songwriter has racked up 4,000,000 streams across all platforms and counting as he continues to write, sing, produce and distribute his songs independently. In his third EP, he will start exploring themes that ring closer to his hometown in Singapore. After a long 2 year hiatus from his sophomore EP "Blue Blast", Edson Charntor is ready to present the moments that Singaporeans share on a global scale - starting from the song "Ai Stead Mai", which means "Will you be mine?", the next album will be a proper return for Edson Charntor as he continues to share his passion for music.
