After 10 years of work on other musical ventures, including her folk/rock duo June Cat, Taylor Olson is finally releasing another solo record. The vulnerable EP, “Out of Tears,” is her first solo output since her 2012 debut, “Love is for the Birds.” The new set of vibrant but melancholy songs derives primarily from personal experience and represents just a small selection of the countless (mostly) sad songs she has written over the last decade.
