Mount Pleasant is a Canadian electronic music duo formed in Vancouver, Canada by John Pirito and Alex Szabo. They first crossed paths in the west coast underground rave scene, and later collaborated musically, touring Asia, Europe, and North America. The two strive to create a musical experience as timeless as a dusty leather jacket, with rolling basslines, dreamy atmospheres, and a healthy dose of organic instrumentation. 
 In more recent years Mount Pleasant has explored different creative viewpoints, partnering with Grammy nominated and Juno award winning artists.. They have accumulated over 2 million streams for a series of cross-over dance tracks while maintaining a strong connection between music, culture, and nature. By continually expanding their repetoire and perfecting their live performance, the duo continues to push the boundaries of traditional dance music.
