“I’m Søren, I started playing the Piano as a 7 year old from the country side. Secretly I always knew I had a singing voice. Over the years, I found that singing did so much more for me than speaking. That’s when I found the world of Musical Theatre, and a true broadway baby was born. But one genre wasn’t enough for me, and I have now been given the amazing opportunity to take the leap as a recording artist with my song “Lige her” as a contribution to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023 (Danish Eurovision). 
 With some of the heavy hitters from the 80’s like Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan and Dolly Parton in my heart, I step into the contemporary music world, with musical inspirations like Lizzy McAlpine, Harry Styles and Yebba and I’m so ready to embark this adventure.” 
 - Søren Torpegaard Lund starred in the iconic lead role as Tony in West Side Story, at The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen as of the fall of 2022. 
 He finished school with a bachelor in Musical Theatre from The Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2019 and has since been in shows like “Fiddler on the roof”, “Dance of the Vampires”, “Kinky Boots”, and “Oliver”. 
 Next Fall 2023, he will be starring as one of the four leads in the broadway hit “Jersey Boys”.
