In 2007, Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst formed W&W, DJ and production duo, and have become one of the most sought-after acts in electronic music. With their energetic music and festival sets, W&W have dominated dance floors worldwide and ranked in DJ Mag's Top 20 DJs for the past 9 years. They have performed at renowned festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra, EDC, and broke the world record in China with 24 shows in 27 days. W&W's sound combines uplifting melodies of Trance, intensity of Electro, and the drive of Progressive, creating a unique and rebellious style. From their early hits like ‘Rave After Rave’ and 'Bigfoot' to recent favorites 'God Is A Girl’, ‘Heaven Is A Place On Earth’, and ‘Rave Love’ their diverse productions appeal to multiple audiences. Under their alias NWYR, W&W continue to innovate and release trance-inspired productions. They run Rave Culture, a community-driven record label, and host a bi-weekly radio show with over 300,000 listeners. In 2020, they pioneered an XR augmented reality livestream and expanded it into Rave Culture Live, showcasing their DJ skills and productions.
