ColourMind is a Pop Punk band hailing from Perth, Western Australia, blending pop punk with metal influences, ColourMind have been making waves in the local music scene. The band consists of four members - Jonny Essiech, who serves as the band's guitarist and original founding member, as well as three other talented musicians, Jimmy Watson fronting the band and taking over guitar duties, Matt Wenke providing hard hitting drums and Reg King with his thunderous bass. The band's debut album, Perfecting Failure, has been a long time in the making. Jonny first started writing and composing the songs on the album when he was just a young teenager, and the band has been working tirelessly to bring these songs to life in the studio. The album is currently being recorded by Jay Huxtable at Oracle Sound in Perth, and is set to be released in 2023. Perfecting Failure is an album that tackles a range of important themes, including social and political issues that are close to the hearts of the band members.
