False Puppet is a three-piece rock band from Santa Barbara, California formed in 2009. Stylistically, their music features influences ranging from blues to hardcore, however they are most easily classified as rock n’ roll. In addition to becoming mainstays in their local Santa Barbara music scene, the trio has toured extensively across their home state and the rest of the United States, most notably as members of the 2015 Vans Warped Tour. Following an almost four-year hiatus in which the members took part in other musical projects including Between Friends, Arlington, and Twin XL, the band reunited at the end of 2019 to work on new material. Their 2020 self-titled EP is the first iteration of False Puppet’s reunion.
