Aldrich is the lil baby project of Minneapolis songwriter and producer Caleb Anderson. The unintentional formula for Aldrich combines two of Anderson’s favorite things: vulnerable, tender vocal and guitar performances (like those of Angelo De Augustine, José González, and Billie Marten) and a host of eclectic textures bowing to a heavy backbeat (inspired by producers like Blake Mills, Rostam, and Sean Everett). Calling on the talents of Hank Donato (Beemer, keys), Destin Modina (guitar), Matt Tessier (bass), and Reese Kling (drums), Anderson is surrounded by a band willing to approach his songs with the playfulness and wide-eyed nature that characterizes their music together as Aldrich.
