Биография
Amadeu Cavalcante, singer and composer from Amapá, born and raised in the city of Macapá, a city that has the privilege of being bathed by the Amazon River. He has already released several phonographic productions such as "Sentinela Nortente" (1989), "Estrela do Norte Norte" (1991), Tarumã (1996), Senzalas (2000), "Equinócio" (2014) and many other participations with various music partners. His alternative musicality, deeply rooted in the Amazon, gained popular acceptance and gave expression to the purpose he had longed for: the appreciation of Amazonian Music. With his strong and well-honed tone of voice, he has traveled to various corners of this great and beloved country, and he can already show his work in Germany, along with Zé Miguel, Joãozinho Gomes and Val Milhomem, as part of the Senzalas group, to launch the CD Senzalas, showing genuinely "amapaense" root music like "Marabaixo (original rhythm of Amapá culture)" and Batuque, a musicality stuffed with a lot of "ginga" to the sound of drums that infects and makes people dance.
