7Mondays is an Italian duo from Crotone (IT), formed in 2020 by Alessandro Franco (drums and synths) and Isacco Scarriglia (vocals and guitars). They released their debut single, "Libidine," in May 2020, offering an early version of their sound which they refined in subsequent releases. During the recording sessions, they collaborated with a third musician, Mykyta Tortora/Euthymia, who contributed additional guitars and vocals. In summer 2020, they recorded the tracks for their EP titled "Sent." The EP was mixed and mastered by Marco Barzetti (True Sleeper, Weird., Sonic Jesus) and released in late April 2021 through the independent label Dirty Beach Records (23 and beyond the infinite, Wilt Plvce, Unruly girls..). Their second single from the EP, "Tape Rewind," was included in the "Rock Italia" Spotify playlist and remained there for four months after its release. "Sent" also received coverage in the April edition of the Italian magazine "Rockerilla," featuring a brief overview of their background, an interview, and a review of their new tracks. In November 2021, 7Mondays made their foray into a more electronic and experimental style with the track "Contraccettivi," featured on DAM81's CTRL+Y. Throughout 2022, Alessandro and Isacco diligently worked on new ideas for their first album, "Dust You Are." The album was mixed by Alessandro Pascolo and mastered by Giovanni Versari, eventually released on April 21, 2023.
