Swedish hip hop artist Canto mixes experimental production with R&B melodies and lo-fi aesthetics to create his signature sound. A veteran of the Stockholm scene, he has established himself as a unique artist unafraid of taking risks. With his newest album, he embraces a melodic sound that charts new territory while retaining the charm and imagination of his previous releases. While Canto’s style is influenced by hip hop auteurs like Madlib and Kanye West, he also draws inspiration from long walks alone in nature and time spent immersed in anime.
