Melodic death metal duo Tragedy Struck First have released their debut single, ‘That Which Leaves Us Hollow’. Marking the first collaboration between Vesicarum vocalist Grymm Neve and Wicked Stone guitarist Dave Austin, the track channels influences from Archspire, Shadow of Intent and Ingested across its six-and-a-half minute runtime. The song channels substantial emotional heft for Neve. “This song is written about my cousin who struggled with cancer as a child,” he states. “[They] eventually passed away.” The album was recorded at Neve's home studio, with the exception of vocals which recorded by Graham Waller, who also mixed and mastered the track. ‘That Which Leaves Us Hollow’ is out now via One Eyed Toad Records.
