Stuka Siren is a dynamic alternative/pop/pop punk band from Cavite, Philippines. Formed sometime in the mid-2000s, the band has been on a mission to create infectious music that resonates with audiences of all ages. With a lineup consisting of Jilcs Rodis-Marinda on lead vocals and guitars, Jess Lupango on guitars, Byron Marinda on guitars, Andrei Rodis on bass guitar, and Chris Casupang on drums, Stuka Siren has crafted a unique sound that blends pop-punk attitude with catchy pop hooks. They named themselves after a device attached to a Stuka JU-87, a World War 2 dive bomber, that caused terror over its intended victims by producing a panic-inducing wail or screech. The reason is probably that they grew up and spent most of their youth and young adult lives living in a military base. Stuka Siren's music is characterized by catchy riffs, anthemic choruses, unique sound, and relatable lyrics that touch on themes of love, and self-expression. Their songs are often infused with heartfelt lyrics, reflecting the band's passion for their craft and desire to connect with their audience on a visceral level. Over the years, Stuka Siren released an EP back in 2006. In 2019, they released Saglit and In Between on Spotify (and other music platforms) showcasing their versatility as songwriters and musicians.
