    Since my Swedish surname isn't the easiest to pronounce in english-speaking countries, a friend of mine jokingly started calling me 'Effy'. With my friend continually calling me ‘Effy’, the name slowly over time became something I began identifying myself more closely with. Combining this nickname with my surname 'Effy Simon' was born. Effy Simon is someone I’ve longed to be since I received a ukulele from my grandmother at the tender age of 10. Since then I've been struck by its warm acoustic sounds and that really has influenced my music today. So welcome to my world of storytelling melodies, I hope you like it here.
