Биография
Micke Bjorklof & Blue Strip celebrates 30-years Anniversary with new album. Colors Of Jealousy is the new album by genre bending and award winning Finnish bluesrock band Micke Bjorklof & Blue Strip. This is the follow up to the critically acclaimed album “Let The Fire Lead” Bjorklof released 2020 with his acoustic power trio Micke & Lefty feat.Chef. His band’s incendiary live performances have been mesmerizing audiences all over Europe and all the way to Japan. Bandleader Bjorklof originally founded the band with bass player Seppo Nuolikoski back in 1991. After a few minor changes during the early days, the line-up has remained unaltered since 1998. Initially an acoustic Blues-Rock cover band, they have now grown into a full fledged electric blues band electric with mostly original material; roots & blues music becoming their primary muse. Micke Bjorklof & Blue Strip have won two Finnish Blues Awards. They were named Best Band Of The Year 2014 and won Best Song Of The Year in 2015. Through the years three of their albums have been voted best Finnish blues album of the year by listeners of the Bluesminister show at Radio Suomi, YLE, the National Broadcasting Company. 2018 they released their first live album “Twentyfive Live at Blues Baltica” recorded at Blues Baltica festival in Germany on their 25-years Anniversary tour. This was the follow up to the critically acclaimed 2015 “Ain´t Bad Yet” album, which was produced by multi Grammy Award winning John Porter.
