Lush multi-layered synth arrangements, thick bass lines, and catchy guitars run Top Less Gay Love Tekno Party through a gamut of electro, dance and glam pop hits. Hooky vocals elevate their songs to anthemic heights. The lyrics, often ironic and kitsch, strike at the heart of young relationships, partying and friendship. Forming as a band while living in Glasgow, Scotland, Top Less now calls Canada home. Their larger than life live shows are packed full of theatrical content including costume, dance performance, glitter, props and massive video projections. Top Less released their much anticipated debut album in 2013 and now a follow up EP in 2018. Top Less has toured throughout Canada and the U.S headlining large shows and festivals and supporting bands such as K-OS, Stars, Brite Futures, Hey Ocean and Hollerado. They also took part in NXNE, CMJ and CMW along with Tracks on Tracks, hosted by Green Couch Productions and CBC, where they toured by train from Vancouver to Toronto with 9 other Canadian bands. A documentary feature film based on the train journey is in production.
