    Swamp Ritual was formed in Missoula, Montana by high school friends and band mates Sid LaTray (drums) and Dustin Fugere (bass). There isn’t a lot of swamps in Montana now, but there was when there was dinosaurs. Which is exactly what Swamp Ritual sounds like. A massive, uncompromising lizard staring down an asteroid of cosmic destruction. From a half baked idea, to two albums and multiple cross country tours, Swamp Ritual is a live force of music. Best experienced where the band was formed, in a dimly lit basement smelling of b.o. and pot smoke.
