    Using Black Metal inspired by Leviathan, Deathspell Omega, Mayhem, and more while also using the harshness of Heavy Deathcore, Slaughter The False Prophet is a Blackened Ambient Deathcore project that hailed from Big Spring Texas with the sound of breakdowns, skull crushing bass drops, and raspy screams. El Paso native Alec Lopez adopted the nom de guerre, Maleficus in 2020 and soon from the ashes, Slaughter The False Prophet formed around the talents of Alex Sevigny and Maleficus. Later on as Slaughter The False Prophet grew and dropped the single Rituals Ov Sin on Slam Worldwide, a drummer named Alexander Cox had joined the band as the official percussionist.
