Nephtys is an urban artist in Brussels, born mixed-race from a Syrian father & a Belgian mother. As a singer and talented rapper, Nephtys takes us through her multi-verse world by switching musical genres with ease. Refuting popular stereotypes of misogynistic rap and violence, Nephtys subtlety mixes conscious punch-lines with her soft and warm voice. From her strong background on Jazz & Pop scenes, she reconnects herself to her first love: Soul & Hip-Hop, in a way to allow the woman she’s becoming to express herself. Nephtys narrates through her sincere and hopeful words, her vision of the world, the realities and the dreams she carries in her heart. Close to the public, she wants to share her optimism despite the hardships of life.
