The Isaac Jacob Band Band, one of the Lone Star state’s most impressive emerging acts, is set to release their self-titled sophomore album on October 26 via Union 28 Records. Drawing from 1970s country influences (George Jones, Merle Haggard) the six piece band deliver a stark meditation on life’s dilemmas and hard lessons by blending introspective Texas country and sharp songwriting with hints of blistering honky tonk and western swing. Recorded in Wimberley, Texas at yellow DOG Studios, the album was produced, recorded and mixed by award-winning producer and studio proprietor David Percefull; mastered by Adam Odor and features ten tracks, five of which were written by Jacob including the album’s sublime first single “The Price We Gotta Pay” featuring Mike Harmeier ( Mike and the Moonpies). Formed in 2013, the Isaac Jacob Band includes Isaac Jacob Pineda (vocals, guitars); David Percefull (guitars, backing vocals); Adam Odor (bass); j Meridian (backing vocals, fiddle); Josh Center (drums) and Steve Littleton (keys, banjo).
