Original Technical Death Djent outfit known as “ I Magnified “ had its last live concert performing as supporting acts with the likes of “The Contortionist “ , and “ Jeff Loomis “. It was on this high note that it seemed all the stars were aligned to greatness for this band . Like all stars though , I Magnified fell. What seemed as towards the heavens , came crashing to the earth . Before the great plummet to the earth , I Magnified was able to release a debut album and deluxe version . Completing the works of I Magnified in a collection of 8 Technical , Progressive , Positive , Death Djent songs known as “ Gayatri Mantra “ . Albeit a final performance demonstrating “ Earthbound Part 1 , 2 and 3 ( 17 minutes )“ for the first and last time ever ; these collection of songs sadly never went on to be recorded . After irreconcilable differences found between founders Dillon Forst and Eddie Barragan , the band was abandoned . For better or worse , the debris has subsided . As a final positive note , for the ashes dying embers that is I Magnified at current state , Hollow Records ( founded by Dillon Forst ex I Magnified Co Founder ) released a deluxe version of “ Gayatri Mantra “ featuring “ Transgress “ . This was the first and final demonstration of solely Dillon Forst and Eddie Barragan on Vocals while both playing their respective instruments . This was a grand venture , inspired heavily by the likes of Gojira . This was the final release before the bands ending and departure .
