Биография

When his mother brought home a piano only to use as decoration, ABBOTT immediately was drawn to the instrument and started playing. After his music studies at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Enschede, he moved to Hamburg, where his solo career started. In 2020 ABBOTT released his first album Somnia, which is a compilation of orchestral/contemporary music. Recently he has had the pleasure of working with the very talented Zoe Wees, arranging a ‘Cinematic’ version of her hit Control (String Version). His next single Home, was in collaboration with the Deutsche Grammophon as part of the 'Projekt 12’. This calm and emotional piece was written as an ode to his Mother and his family and recorded in the Netherlands together with the Vocaal Ensemble Cordier. ABBOTT just released his new EP: Unfold (XXIM:EXPO #2) under Sony's new sub-label 'XXIM Records'. Accompanying with a music video shot entirely under water with award winning free-diver Julie Gautier.
