Composer and independent producer; Influenced by The Beatles, Pescado Rabioso, his passion for music started at the age of 13 therefore, he began practicing guitar, piano and bass guitar. At the beginning of 2018 he released his first solo album entitled "Refugio" which is a fusion of Rock, Jazz and Blues, thanks to this album Bendek was shown on the indie scene in El Salvador. On March 22, 2019, his first Trap song was released featuring Spuk which combines psychedelic rock, hip hop and R&B. [Lluvia Ácida (feat. Spuk)] On October 13, 2019 Bendek released "Chica Fugaz" featuring his girlfriend Naomy Díaz. After a few days of the release they positioned themselves internationally due to the good reception by the public. Ricardo Bendek has quietly weaved together psychedelic dream pop that melts together jazz, surf sounds, and causal DIY elements. His latest single, Chica Fugaz is a delightful, upbeat ditty, awash in synths and background whistle notes, that fits neatly into Bendek’s diverse sonic catalog so far. Through the track, Bendek shines a spotlight on the creativity brewing in Central America’s indie scenes. In November, 2021, Ricardo and Naomy released Humanum their most recent LP, a great conception of Pop, Rock and Indie filled with psychedelia and most important, love.
