Otagh is a multi-genre artist collective from Tehran. The band, founded in 2015 by Bamdad Afshar, is known for its experimental electronic music in combination with elements of Persian poetry, rock and electro-acoustic folk. They are also known for their inventions in making new instruments as well as robots and new electronic devices. The Otagh band consists of Bamdad Afshar, Niusha Ghorbani, Asghar Piran, Omid Saidi and Pouya Shomali.
