Rickylindo is a versatile Latin artist who was born in Washington DC with parents from the Dominican Republic. “Ricky”, birth name Julian Ricardo Duran, loved music all his life. His father taught him how to play Congas and Bongos at a very young age and later on started teaching him how to play Guitar. A couple years later Rickylindo moved to New York and formed part of a Bachata group called Óptimo in which his cousin , Roberto A. Sanchez (Romántico) was the lead singer , former Merengue Super Star, “Alá Jazá” was the bass player and he (Rickylindo) was the second Guitar Player. A Couple Years later he decides to get into hip hop and Reggaeton where he formed a duo called Necio & Ricky . This is when he becomes locally famous in the DMV area. After a couple years of performing locally he decides to move to Miami to pursue his dream where he begins his career as a solo artist. He launches a single called “Te Gusta El Sexo” featuring his cousin Optimo and his brother, “Fuego” former Latin Star.He then does a few different remixes of the song with Farruko, Juan Magán, and Sensato. The song reaches Top Charts in Europe and South America. In the process of all this Rickylindo toured with his brother Fuego as his hype man all over the world. After all this Rickylindo decides to put together an EP which is currently in the making.
