    Stacy Kamatu is a Kenyan Singer & Songwriter currently based in Denver, Colorado.She is an eclectic music lover, with influences ranging from classic & alternative RnB, Soul , Gospel and Kenya’s staples , including Mugithi , Rhumba, Kapuka and the ‘upcoming’ underground talents from Nairobi, whose sounds are yet to be labeled. While she does not want to be boxed into a genre, she loves to sing about love, life , & about God. Stacy explains -,”I remember at only 8 years old , hearing melodies in my spirit. Songs came to me in the very mundane moments of life. I knew that I was destined to pursue my love for music since I was child. It was a burning , a yearning, a need , that filled my soul. And I hope every lyric, every melody , & every song, speaks to people’s hearts the way it speaks to mine.”
