Биография
Daughter of Fabrizio De André -- arguably Italy's most important singer/songwriter -- and singer Dori Ghezzi and stepsister of musician and producer Cristiano De André, Luisa Vittoria "Luvi" De André was born in Tempio Pausania, in Sardinia, on November 30, 1977. Although hailing from a family with strong musical roots, Luvi's first experiences were in the field of figurative arts. She debuted as a singer in 1996, when she did some backing vocals on her father's LP Anime Salve. Then she took part in the following tour -- the last before his death -- as documented on the live albums Fabrizio De André in Concerto (1999) and Fabrizio De André in Concerto, Vol. 2 (2001), singing a duet with him on his version of the traditional English folk ballad "Geordie." In 2001 she guested on Ivano Fossati's La Disciplina della Terra, performing a duet with him on the track "La Rondine," and the following year she did some backing vocals on her stepbrother Cristiano De André's Scaramante. In 2003 she took part in Faber Amico Fragile, a concert dedicated to her father, at Genoa's Carlo Felice theater, singing the song "Rimini," inexplicably not included on the CD of the same title that documented the show. Her first solo album, Io Non Sono Innocente, written and recorded with the contributions of producers Pietro Cantarelli and Claudio Fossati and Yo Yo Mundi's guitarist Fabrizio Barale, was released in 2006. ~ Aurelio Pasini, Rovi
