when i was 13, two high schoolers in my hometown wrote, recorded, and released a CD. i couldn't believe it. i thought that was the coolest thing ever, and i set a goal to make an album too. the album i wrote in high school is called Songs from 6th East. when i wrote my first song, i played it for my friend in his car after a football game. he was really supportive. that helped me have the confidence to record and my first song, Mr. Moon. thank you friend! i didn't know if i was going to keep making music after i did my first album. what i found out that i really like making music 😁 i wrote another album, and it's called Dreamer. im working on a new album right now 🤗 idk. i just have feelings and something inside me compels me to write about them and tell that story! 🤪 one of my most recent songs is called Millionaire. i put the shredded dollar bill on the album cover to say that even though i talk about money a lot in that song, it's not about money at all. it's about people. my sister always says, "people will never forget how you made them feel." when i think about it, i feel like a lot of my songs end up being about that 🤔 (Too, Blurry, Shake Hands With You, Maximillian, Shoulders, Stick Around, Skeleton , Seattle...) on march 3rd, im releasing a song called Old News, and im really excited for you to hear it! feel free to drop by and say hello on ig --> @jtaymusic . thanks for listening. enjoy, and take care !
