Биография

Casketgarden was formed in 1998. The plan was to make such a brutal but melodic music as our favorite bands (At The Gates, Carcass). After 3 demos the band released 3 albums (This Corroded Soul Of Mine 2003, Open The Casket, Enter The Garden 2006 and Incompleteness In Absence 2008 on Metal Age Productions (MAP) and 1 on Nail/Hammer Records (The Estrangement Process 2012) Significant gigs: 2003 – 2005: Pungent Stench, Dew-Scented, Children Of Bodom, Nightwish, Anthrax and toured in Serbia, Austria, Switzerland and Italy in 2003. 2006 – 2008: A band played live in Austria, Slovakia, Czech Rep., France, Serbia, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Germany promoting the second album, won the HU round of the International Live Award competition and reached the 7th position in the semi-final in Vienna (A). 2008- : Zagreb Metal Fest 2008 (CRO), Kaltenbach Open Air 2008 (A), Eisenwahn Fest 2008 (D), Brutal Assault 2009 (CZ), Metalfest 2010 (H), Rockmaraton 2010 & 2011 (H), and a mini tour supporting Warbringer (USA) in Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria in 2010. The band split up in 2012 after main song writer and lead guitarist Balázs moved to Ireland.
