Retrace The Lines is always trying to exceed boundaries. It's something of a mission statement for the Valencia-based quintet -- Jorge "JJ" Llombart [Vocals], Lorenzo Torrero [Guitar & Vocals], Jorge Parra [Bass], Jesus "Chus" Villacañas [Drums], and Alejandro Magnieto [Keyboards]. "We tried to spread awareness about being open-minded when it comes to heavy music.' 'We wanted to go beyond the realm of heavy and incorporate everything from pop to soundtrack-style moments. Everything with really curated care. We will never put out something that we are not truly proud of." It's a goal that the band always possessed since first writing for what would become the first single of the group in 2012 "The Broken Ones". "The band started as an evolution of our older band" Loren & Alex exclaim. "We meet the other guys on the road, and this music just spoke to everyone, and we felt a bond."
