Биография
Joyce “Fenderella” Irby is the voice of the 80’s all girl band Klymaxx. Joyce is the bass player and original lead singer on 3 of Klymaxx’s 4 biggest records, including their biggest hit, I Miss You. Joyce's solo album on Motown, Maximum Thrust, charted 3 singles, including the Billboard #1 selling hip hop single, Mr. D.J. featuring Doug E. Fresh. Before Klymaxx, Joyce rapping & playing bass as "Fenderella" had a nationally charted single "A Wild & Crazy Song" on Miami based T.K. Records. Around 2015 Joyce began writing and recording new music for herself. She recently recorded with long time friend Howard Hewett. As a talent developer in Atlanta since 1990, Joyce signed, and launched the careers of platinum producers Dallas Austin, Jasper Cameron, and others, and recording artists Lloyd and Sammie . In 2012 she won an ASCAP songwriter award as co-writer & publisher (Diva One Music), for the Fat Joe/Chris Brown top 5 urban hit Another Round (feat. Chris Brown) . Joyce was mentored as a teenager by George Clinton and they remain close today. Joyce is a passionate animal advocate, and in December 2018, completed writing her memoir, "Id Still Say Yes" about her experiences in the entertainment industry....coming soon...
