Led by composer/arranger Frank Ferrer, the all-star salsa orchestra Descarga Boricua formed in 1993, recording their self-titled debut LP that summer. Descarga Boricua II/Abratze, cut in New York City, followed in 1995; three years later the group returned with Somos Uno. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
