Unborn Prophecy is a Progressive Death Metal band from Costa Rica. Inspired by our Ancient Roots and the fury of nature, the band was founded in 2018 as a new project from previous bands by lead guitar David Gonzalez and drummer Juan Carlos Suarez. Later joined by rhythm guitar Jeancarlo Murillo, bass player Paulo Matarrita, and vocalist Sley Martinez who completes the lineup. They released their first production called "Waking Our Ancient Memories" in April 2023. This album makes it very clear that they are one of the most powerful and intense metal acts in the Costa Rica metal scene. Also, they released a playthrough for their single "The Unborn & Whispers", an official video for "The Seven Blood Lines", and a lyric video for "Ocean", all of them available on YouTube to promote the release. This comes with no surprise, as you can experience the level of detail and production that they put into their material. From ancient cultures to apocalyptic prophecies, they deliver a very fresh and unique sound inspired by bands like Gojira, Decapitated, Opeth, Tool and many others.
