Vexovoid is an Italian Sci-fi themed Progressive Thrash Metal band born in Tuscany in the late 2013. After some time in a thrash metal band, Leonardo Bellavista, Danny Brunelli and Salvatore Morreale, they decide to work on a new project mixing furious and complex sounds with some Sci-Fi atmosphere ispired by the sound of Vektor and Voivod. Immediately after the publication of the EP "HERALDS OF THE STARS" in 2014, Salvatore quit the band and has been replaced with Mattia Mornelli, who joined their ranks, first as live member and then as the proper drummer. After some years touring all over Italy, in 2017 the trio sign a contract with ETN Records to realize their first a full-lenght album, "CALL OF THE STARFORGER". The album reaches a good success that several megazine metioned it among the best metal release of the year and this brought the band on many stages like the slovenian metal festival MetalDays 2017, next to the biggest names of the international metal scene. After the release they felt the need to add a second guitar for their live show and then Morgan Bernardini joined the band. Following the success of Call of the Starforger, the album was re-issued on limited audio-tape format for Reborn Through Tapes Records in 2020 and on digipack deluxe format for Black Tears Label in 2021, also containing the remastered version of Heralds of the Stars EP. Actually the band is working on new music.
