En 2006, lorsque le groupe Ok Volca lance son premier album éponyme avec Slam Disques, la chanson Ouvre-toé les yeux n’a pas été retenue dans la sélection finale. Pourtant, il s’agit de la toute première chanson composée en français par le groupe. Auparavant, le quintet se nomme Haang Upps et chante exclusivement en anglais. Depuis, le groupe n’a jamais retouché à cette pièce, mais récemment, les membres du groupe ont dépoussiéré la chanson qui a pourtant marqué un point tournant dans leur carrière musicale. C’est donc en référence à cette transition que l’inédite Ouvre-toé les yeux est lancée officiellement en 2020 simultanément sous les bannières Haang Upps et Ok Volca. In 2006, when Ok Volca released their first self-titled album with Slam Disques, the song Ouvre-toé les yeux hasn’t been kept in the final selection. However, this was the first song that was wrote in French by the band. Previously, the quintet was called Haang Upps and wrote exclusively in English. For a long period, the single remained totally left out but, recently, members of the group have dusted that one song that marked a turning point in their musical career. It is therefore in reference to this transition that the unpublished song Ouvre-toé les yeux will now officially be released in 2020 simultaneously under the banners of Haang Upps and Ok Volca.
