Greg The Hero is a deathcore band from Atlantic, Iowa that was started in the winter of 2007 by 6 high school friends. Playing most of the Midwest with No Wings to Speak Of, Byleth, Mersa and Superior. The band began taking performing and writing seriously in 2011 when they released their debut EP Of Defiance recorded/produced by Brian Hood at 456 Studios in Huntsville, Alabama. The band toured the east coast the following year with Chicago Hardcore giants Kingmaker to promote the EP. The band released a follow up single “Usurper” in 2013. 
 Greg the Hero is set to release their full length (and final release) March 2021 after extensive delays in the writing/recording process. Citing influences from Deftones, Ion Dissonance, Pink Floyd, Job For a Cowboy and Abigail Williams.
