Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, Baby Prince takes influence from the likes of 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne and the late Michael Jackson. Speaking to Tirade World, Baby Prince says he's influenced by Lil Wayne's "character" and "cadence", and it's not hard to see the comparison. Every lyric that Baby Prince delivers has emotional weight and meaning. He doesn't waste his words. Zimbabwe is Baby Prince's strongest release yet, and is another collaboration with Liam Thomas. Bars about Olympic hero Pete Bol and Finding Nemo showcase Baby Prince's ability to combine pop culture references with introspective, personal lyrics that highlight his journey to find a space for himself in Australia. Speaking about Zimbabwe, Baby Prince explains, “Most people think I’m American because of how my music sounds but I wanted to make this song and make it perfectly clear where I’m from and my story.
