Born out of a love for catchy melodies, simple songs, and the pop-rock zenith of the late 90s, Buffalo NY's Genesee Hotel is here with a debut, four-song debut EP called 'Strawberry.' Full of jangly guitars, memorable vocals, sing-along harmonies, and an acoustic guitar at its core, 'Strawberry' is music that you and your mom can both love... Assuming she lived through the nineties. Named after a defunct Buffalo hotel with a tragic backstory, the band's energetic, summery sound pairs perfectly with memorable lyrics about love and nostalgia. Together, the band's four members (Anthony Musior; Jon Coric; Nick Sessanna; Mike Magoffin) boast an extensive resume of local and regional acts that span multiple genres (the Traditional; Cooler; Into the Wake; American Nosebleed; among countless others stretching all the way back to the mid-aughts). 'Strawberry' was recorded in 2021 with Jay Zubricky at GCR Studios in Buffalo NY.
