Rio, professionally, known by his stage name YGRIO, has found his home and is starting to find his voice. In 2018 he released his first single, but he has been honing his craft since the age of 7. Taking music seriously around the age of 15, YGRIO started to use his talent as a positive outlet in his life and to express himself–and he hasn’t looked back since. 
 The recent High School graduate wants to show that his work ethic, matched with his melodic and hook heavy approach to making hits, can culminate in a smashing success. His album “Misunderstood” was released in January of 2021 and has seen positive numbers with streaming on Soundcloud, but also on Spotify as well. Working in a market that is devoid of new voices in the rap scene, it is the perfect time for the East Coast based hit maker to take the next step in progression.
