Raven Sky is a Finnish death metal band consisting of experienced metal musicians. The band's music is characterized by a combination of melodic death metal and symphonic black metal. The end result is a multifaceted and varied sound with different atmospheres. Raven Sky consists of a group of friends who started making metal music as teenagers in the late 90s. In the following years they were an active live band, making several recordings. However, in their twenties they decided to put the band on hold, life got in the way. Finally, after six years of silence, the band became active again. Nowadays, Raven Sky works mostly remotely, and occasionally friends get together for a weekend to compose and record music. They do this out of a passion for music - yet the quality of the music and the precision of the vision is not compromised. The band is not currently doing any gigs, but they are open to suggestions… Raven Sky is Tomi Aaltonen (bass), Ville Kehtola (guitar), Oskari Kettinen (vocals & keyboard), Esa Mäkinen (guitar) and Atte Tahvanainen (drums).
