PLAGUESTORM was born from the mind of Sebastián Pastor, who was strongly influenced by Swedish Metal bands such as In Flames, Dark Tranquility or Hypocrisy. Sebastián Nuñez Szymanski also participates adding a orchestral arrangement for the song "Purifying Fire". As in the previous album, Sebastián Pastor was in charge of composing and writing all the lyrics and music, as well as recording the acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums prog, and keyboards / synthesizers / strings. Regarding the lyrics, the album shows a more personal and emotional side of Sebastián, some lyrics speak about death or recent losses suffered.
