Summer is a season that makes you or breaks you. It's the season where you lose sight of most things important, where distractions await at every corner. Amidst all these distractions, at the end of the summer of 2015, when time came to cut losses and plan for the fall, sittingthesummerout was born as a 3-piece in Milan, Italy, drafting a debut experimental EP - "Pas Du Tout". After an exciting beginning, the band was then held back to the edge of its seat for over a year - a time that was ultimately necessary to round up the band's final 5-person lineup, to understand what the right direction was, to sketch out what came next in the best possible way. In the middle of this, a result of another summer’s work was "Could It Rain Forever?", the band's first official single - but it wasn't the right time yet. The new and reborn sittingthesummerout will see its dayview on December 1st, 2017, release date of "Brick And Mortar", 5-track sophomore EP out via Ghost Factory Records & Arts. Through its melodic hooks that stand in contrast with the sourer and heavier choruses, the spoken word element that characterizes the band happily coexists with the plethora of influences that are brought to the table by the band's members. sittingthesummerout, post-hardcore (if categorization is your thing) from Milan, Italy.
