Having been raised in a small country mining town in outback Australia, Maïkee has always held a deep passion for music. Starting as a classical pianist, his career has spread vastly across many musical realms, from Jazz clubs to studio pop tracks. Now based in Brisbane/Meanjin, the Australian vocalist works in the Royal Australian Navy as their male vocalist, boasting the skillset of an Able Seaman Musician. Maïkee’s debut single was played in H&M stores worldwide. By involving himself in every aspect of his music’s production, from the lyrics through to video production, what you hear has come directly from Maïkee himself.
