Биография

Formed in 2020, Mara Bloom is a progressive post-hardcore band from Honolulu. Their first sonic offering was released in April 2021 in the form of the Hallucinations EP, a frenetic but highly accessible progressive post-hardcore odyssey that danced between soaring melodies and bouncing funk grooves to desperate screams and pummeling breakdowns. In 2023 Mara Bloom will release their debut full length album They Who Invite, an evolution of the group’s unique take on the genre enriched by overtones of Japanese city pop, post-djent metal sensibilities, and math rock intricacy wrapped up in dramatic conceptual storytelling inspired by Shinto mythology.
