Биография
London, UK-based producer Steve Anderson and Leeds, UK-based DJ Dave Seaman, who met through the DMC organization in 1988, established themselves as one of the UK house scene’s most adventurous and popular remixing teams. They initially came to public prominence with startling revisions of yesteryear such as Heaven 17’s ‘Temptation’ and Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s ‘Welcome To The Pleasuredome’. Other work included engagements with Sabrina Johnson (‘Peace’), Pet Shop Boys (‘We All Feel Better In The Dark’, ‘DJ Culture’, ‘Was It Worth It?’, ‘Seriously’), Kylie Minogue (‘Finer Feelings’), Ce Ce Peniston (‘We Got A Love Thang’), Lulu (‘Independence’) and Judy Cheeks (‘Reach’). They also earned the honour of being the first British team to remix Michael Jackson (‘Who Is It?’ - and they would also work on a track for sister Janet Jackson). Their own work as Brothers In Rhythm included the singles ‘Such A Good Feeling’ (remixed by Sasha) and ‘Peace And Harmony’, though they left 4th & Broadway in 1992, delaying the release of a third, ‘Forever And A Day’. They have also recorded under the alias Brothers Love Dub (‘Ming’s Incredible Disco Machine’) and Creative Thieves (‘Nasty Rhythm’). Seaman was also a leading light behind the DMC/ Stress Records empire, including the development of the clubber’s bible, Mixmag, and also signed a publishing contract with MCA.
