For indie fans over the world, The Halophones is a Helsinki-based rock n' roll -group influenced by bands like Arctic Monkeys, Hanoi Rocks and The Stooges. Their music combines melodic hooks and basslines, catchy riffs, playful lyrics and occasional danceable instrumental moments with the raw power of rock and roll. Since the release of their self-titled debut-EP in 2022, the band of four has had a quick ascension in the Finnish underground scene with their wild, sweaty and spontaneous live shows. This summer The Halophones can be seen playing Finnish festivals such as Jytäkesä Go-Go and Härstock. Tours overseas are in planning.
